Honest comparison

Best Sunscreen in Pakistan Compared: Price per ml

Facts checked on 20 October 2026. Prices change; confirm on the seller’s page.

Short answer

Sunscreens in Pakistan span about Rs.9 per ml for local brands to over Rs.100 per ml for imported dermatology brands. Beautefire Hybrid SPF-95 (50 ml, no white cast, fragrance-free) is Rs.1,799, about Rs.36 per ml. For every product, compare the SPF and the UVA rating printed on the pack, not the marketing number.

This page lists what each brand or retailer page states about sunscreens commonly sold in Pakistan. We have not lab-tested any of them. The labels use different systems (SPF, PA, “UVA in a circle”, “95% UV protection”), so the table shows exactly what each page says, and a blank or “not stated” means we could not verify it.

How to choose

  1. Read the label values. Look for a tested SPF of at least 30–50 and a UVA rating (PA+++ or higher, “broad spectrum” or UVA-in-a-circle).
  2. Pick a texture you will use daily. A gel-cream or hybrid is usually most comfortable on oily skin; mineral-only formulas can leave a white cast on brown skin.
  3. Compare price per ml. A cheap sunscreen you use generously beats an expensive one you ration.
  4. Check the seller. Imported sunscreens in particular should come from a seller that shows batch and expiry.

About the number in Hybrid SPF-95

Beautefire’s Hybrid SPF-95% UV Protection carries the number in its name. Because no two brands present protection the same way, do not compare 95 with 50 or 100 by the number alone: read the SPF and PA values printed on the carton, as you should for every product on this page, and see our SPF explainer. What the product page does state is that the filters used are Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Homosalate and Zinc Oxide.

Honest differences

  • Local mass-market sunblocks such as Saeed Ghani cost a fraction per ml; Hybrid SPF sits in the middle; imported dermatology brands cost several times more.
  • Hybrid SPF is fragrance-free and positioned for oily and sensitive skin with no white cast; reviewers on this site confirm the no-cast finish. We cannot compare it to products whose texture we have not verified.
  • Some brands state both SPF and PA on the page; we could not verify a PA value for every product here.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best sunscreen in Pakistan?

The best one is a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 or higher with a clear UVA rating, a texture you will wear every day and a price you can repeat. Compare labels, texture and price per ml.

Is Beautefire Hybrid SPF-95 better than Neutrogena or La Roche-Posay?

We cannot prove that. They are different products at very different prices. Compare the SPF and UVA values on each pack, the texture on your skin tone and the price per ml.

What is the best sunscreen for oily skin in Pakistan?

Look for a lightweight gel, fluid or hybrid formula that is labelled non-comedogenic or for oily skin; Hybrid SPF-95 is made for oily and sensitive skin and leaves no white cast.

Which sunscreen has no white cast on brown skin?

Chemical and hybrid formulas usually leave less cast than mineral-only ones. Customers with wheatish and brown skin report no white cast with Hybrid SPF-95; test any sunscreen on your own skin tone.

How much should a good sunscreen cost?

Prices in Pakistan range from under Rs.10 per ml for local brands to over Rs.100 per ml for imported dermatology brands. A sunscreen you can afford to use generously every day is a better buy than one you ration.
