Quick answer: For Eid ul Adha keep it short. Cleanse, apply sunscreen generously and reapply every 2 to 3 hours outdoors, use only a thin light base, carry a lip balm and blotting tissue, and cleanse properly at night. Sunscreen, BB cream and a lip balm come to Rs.4,197 with free shipping.

Why Eid ul Adha is hard on skin
Eid ul Adha moves about ten or eleven days earlier each year on the Gregorian calendar, and in recent years it has fallen between May and July, which is the hot season in most of Pakistan. The day is long: early prayers, hours outdoors, visits, big family meals and a lot of cooking. Add sweat, dust and a hot kitchen, and a short, sensible routine is better than an elaborate one. Check the moon-sighting announcement for the exact date and plan a few weeks before it.
A three-step day plan
| When | What to do | Products |
|---|---|---|
| Morning, before prayers | Gentle cleanse, light moisturiser, generous sunscreen. Wait two to three minutes before any base. | Hybrid SPF-95, optional C Glow first |
| Before visiting | A thin layer of base, T-zone only set, lip balm | Bloom Base, a Bloom balm |
| During the day | Blot instead of adding more; reapply sunscreen every 2 to 3 hours outdoors or after sweating | Blotting tissue, sunscreen, lip balm |
| Night | Double cleanse, light moisturiser, early to bed | Your usual cleanser; Clarity only if it is already part of your routine |
Sunscreen is the product that matters most
Long hours outdoors and rooftop gatherings mean real sun exposure. Hybrid SPF-95 is a 30 ml lightweight sunscreen at Rs.1,799. Beautefire describes it as non-greasy and leaving no white cast on wheatish and brown skin, and its ingredient list has no fragrance, but test it at the jawline first. The "95" is part of the product name, not a tested SPF number, and no SPF or PA value is published. Cover the neck, ears and the backs of your hands. If you wear a scarf, a hat or a dupatta, you still need sunscreen on your face. More on reapplying is in sunblock kab aur kitni baar lagayen.
A light base, if you want one
Eid ul Adha is a daytime event, usually with no photographer and a lot of movement. A heavy base will not survive it. A thin layer of Bloom Base, dotted out from the centre of the face and set only on the T-zone, gives a fresher look. It is light-to-medium coverage, one adaptive shade, with mild sun protection from Titanium Dioxide but no SPF number, so it goes over sunscreen. The guide to sunscreen under makeup has the order, and Eid par 5 minute mein makeup has a Roman Urdu five-minute version. Quick looks are also in the Eid glow and quick makeup page.
Lips and hands
Dry air, sun and constant talking tire lips quickly. A Bloom lip balm is Rs.749; the three shades share the formula, with Vitamin E and a light scent. They contain fragrance (Parfum) and have no SPF, so patch test if your lips are reactive. Keep it in your pocket and reapply when lips feel dry. For hands, wash with a mild soap and use whatever hand cream you already tolerate; this routine does not include a hand product.
A few things to avoid
- New products in the last week. A new serum, facial or peel just before a big day is the easiest way to get a reaction.
- Touching your face with greasy or dirty hands after cooking or handling food. Wash first.
- Skipping the night cleanse. Sunscreen, sweat, dust and a day of cooking are better off the skin before sleep.
- Heavy makeup in heat. Thin layers and blotting beat a thick base.
Order a little early
Couriers are busy before Eid and the days around it. Orders are packed in 1 to 2 business days and delivered in about 2–5 working days, but nobody can promise a date, so order early rather than at the last minute. Cash on delivery adds Rs.100; bank transfer has none. Totals above are read from live prices: the three-item routine is Rs.4,497 at list price, and the offers are buy 2 or more items: free shipping; buy 3 or more items: save Rs.300 plus free shipping; buy 5 or more items: save Rs.800 plus free shipping. Beautefire does not offer change-of-mind returns or exchanges.
Who this is not for: if you have a skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have very reactive skin, ask a doctor before adding anything new. If you need a sunscreen with a lab-tested SPF and PA number on the label, check the carton, because Beautefire does not publish one for Hybrid SPF-95.
