Quick answer: For an office day, apply sunscreen every morning, include your neck and the backs of your hands, and add a top-up if you sit by a window or spend a long time commuting. Car and office glass do not make exposure zero. Keep the tube in your bag, not on a hot dashboard.

The everyday situations people ask about

Most sunscreen advice talks about beaches. Real life in Pakistan is a bike ride to work, a rickshaw, a long drive on the motorway, a window desk, a walk from the parking lot and a chai break on the terrace. This guide looks at those daily patterns. For the common myths in one place, see sunscreen myths: indoors, driving and more; this page is the practical plan.

Your dayWhat to do
AC office, desk away from windows, a short car rideOne generous layer in the morning
Desk by a window or in a bright roomMorning layer, top-up around midday on the exposed side of the face
Long daily drive (30 minutes or more each way)Morning layer before you leave, cover the cheek, ear and arm nearest the window
Bike, rickshaw or walking between buildingsMorning layer and reapply every 2 to 3 hours while outdoors
Outdoor work, site visits, school runsSame as above, plus shade, a hat or sunglasses
Windowless indoor dayMorning layer is enough

What glass does and does not do

Car and building windows reduce some sunlight but do not remove it, and your face, neck and the arm nearest the window can still be exposed on a long drive. We do not publish a measurement for any particular window, so treat it as "some, not all" and plan accordingly. Hair, a scarf or a dupatta cover some skin, but the cheek, ear and neck are often left out.

A simple daily plan

  1. Morning. After serum and moisturiser, apply Hybrid SPF-95 generously on face and neck. The pack says to apply 15 to 20 minutes before sun exposure, so put it on while you get dressed.
  2. Cover the forgotten spots. Ears, the back of the neck, the hairline and the backs of your hands, especially the hand that holds the steering wheel.
  3. Midday top-up. If you were outdoors or by a window, blot oil and add a thin layer of sunscreen to the exposed areas. Over makeup, dab rather than rub so the base does not lift.
  4. Evening. Cleanse twice to remove sunscreen, then your night routine.

The pack says to reapply every 2 to 3 hours or after swimming or sweating. The "95" in the name is not a protection rating, and a higher number never replaces reapplying. For amounts, the Roman Urdu sunscreen kitna lagayen guide explains the two-finger idea.

Keep the tube out of the heat

The pack says to store below 30°C. A closed car in a Pakistani summer is far hotter, so do not leave sunscreen on the dashboard, in the glove box or in the boot. Carry it in your bag and bring it indoors. The same goes for serums; see Vitamin C storage and shelf life. Check the date on the pack too: shelf life is 12 months from manufacture.

Layering with makeup at the office

Sunscreen goes on before makeup. Wait two or three minutes, then add a thin layer of Bloom Base if you wear one; it has mild sun protection from Titanium Dioxide but no SPF number, so it is a bonus, not a replacement. Details are in sunscreen under makeup, and the five-minute morning routine fits it all into a short window.

Is it a good fit for the workday?

Hybrid SPF-95 is described as lightweight and fragrance-free, with no white cast on wheatish and brown skin. That makes it easier to wear every day, but test a small amount on your jawline in daylight before an important meeting. If you have oily skin, use a thin layer, blot and see the sunscreen for oily skin guide.

Price and ordering

Hybrid SPF-95 is Rs.1,799 for 30 ml and ships for Rs.200 unless you add another item or reach Rs.2,400. Sunscreen plus a Bloom lip balm is Rs.2,548 with free shipping. Sunscreen, a BB cream and a lip balm are Rs.4,197 after the Rs.300 multi-buy saving. Cash on delivery adds Rs.100; bank transfer has none. Orders arrive in about 2–5 working days.

Who this is not for: if you work outdoors all day, you need more than this plan, including shade, protective clothing and frequent reapplication. If your skin reacts to sunscreen, patch test first and ask a doctor. Sunscreen is one part of sun care, not a force field.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need sunscreen in an AC office?

A single morning layer is usually enough if you sit away from windows. By a window or on a long commute, add a top-up.

Does car glass block the sun?

It reduces some light but not all, so your face, neck and the arm near the window can still be exposed.

Should I reapply sunscreen at my desk?

If you were outdoors or by a window, yes. Blot oil first, then add a thin layer. Otherwise a morning layer is enough.

Can I leave sunscreen in the car?

No. The pack says to store below 30°C, and a closed car is much hotter. Carry it in your bag.

Is BB cream with sun protection enough?

No. Bloom Base has mild protection from Titanium Dioxide but no SPF number. Use sunscreen underneath.

Roman Urdu mein khulasa

Office ke liye har subah sunblock lagayen, gardan aur haathon ki pusht bhi. Khidki ke paas baithte hon ya lambi drive ho to dopahar mein halki si dobara layer. Gaari ka shisha dhoop ko poori tarah nahin rokta. Sunblock ko dashboard par na chhoden; pack par 30 degree se neeche rakhne ko kaha gaya hai. 95 naam ka hissa hai, rating nahin.
