Facts checked on 21 October 2026. Prices change; confirm on the seller’s page.

Short answer

Skin Sciences sells its Alpha Arbutin serum (Arbiderm) and Vitamin C serum (Vitabright C) at Rs.3,899 each on its own site on 21 October 2026, while Beautefire’s Clarity (30 ml, 2% Alpha Arbutin) and C Glow (30 ml, 10% stabilised Vitamin C) are Rs.1,799 each. Skin Sciences states it was developed by American Board Certified Dermatologists; Beautefire states its serum strengths and key ingredients, and we cannot say either brand’s serums work better.

Skin Sciences is a Pakistani serum brand that is often sold through pharmacy-style retailers. People searching for a Skin Sciences alternative usually want the same job (fading dark spots or brightening) at a different price. This page compares what the two brands state on their pages. We have not tested any serum.

What is actually different

  • Price. Skin Sciences serums were priced at Rs.3,899 on the brand site, about twice the price of the Beautefire serums here. Size is not stated on the brand’s own pages, so price per ml cannot be calculated from them.
  • Stated strength. Beautefire’s pages print the strength of the main active; Skin Sciences’ brand pages name the active but did not print a percentage, although derma.pk’s listing says 2% for the Alpha Arbutin serum.
  • Formula differences. Clarity contains a little glycolic acid, so sensitive skin should go slowly. Skin Sciences’ Vitabright C includes niacinamide, which C Glow does not. Neither claim makes one better; they suit different needs.
  • Credentials. Both brands make statements about dermatologists. We have not seen reports or registrations for either on the pages we read, so treat those as the brands’ own statements.

Delivery and returns as the brands state them

  • Skin Sciences: “Free shipping all over Pakistan” on its site, with a promo code for 5% off; delivery times and cash on delivery were not stated on the pages we read. Its returns page says most new, unopened items can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  • Beautefire: shipping Rs.200, free from Rs.2,400 or 2 or more items; cash on delivery (Rs.100 fee) or bank transfer; delivery in 2–5 working days; refunds only for defective, damaged or undelivered orders, with no change-of-mind returns.

Which should you choose?

If you want a brand that presents itself through dermatologist credentials and are comfortable with the higher price, Skin Sciences is an option. If you want a stated 2% Alpha Arbutin or 10% stabilised Vitamin C serum at a lower price with cash on delivery, Clarity and C Glow are the alternatives. Whatever you choose, daily sunscreen and weeks of consistent use matter more than the brand name. Roman Urdu mein khulasa

Roman Urdu mein: Skin Sciences ke Alpha Arbutin aur Vitamin C serum apni website par Rs.3,899 mein the, jabke Beautefire ke Clarity aur C Glow ki qeemat kam hai. Beautefire apne serum ki taqat likhta hai (Alpha Arbutin 2%, Vitamin C 10%). Hum yeh nahi keh sakte ke koi ek behtar hai: apni skin, budget aur roz sunblock par dhyan dein.

Frequently asked questions

What is a cheaper alternative to Skin Sciences Alpha Arbutin serum in Pakistan?

Beautefire Clarity is a 30 ml serum with 2% Alpha Arbutin at Rs.1,799. Other options exist; compare the stated strength, ingredients, size and seller.

Does Skin Sciences Alpha Arbutin serum contain 2% alpha arbutin?

Skin Sciences’ own page does not print a percentage; derma.pk’s listing for it says 2% Alpha Arbutin in a 30 ml bottle. Check the carton.

Is Skin Sciences better than Beautefire?

We cannot say. Compare ingredients, price per ml, reviews and the seller’s policies, and judge results after weeks of daily use with sunscreen.

Which is better for sensitive skin?

Neither can be called better for sensitive skin. Clarity contains a little glycolic acid and Vitabright C contains Ascorbic Acid, so patch test either one and start slowly.

Does Skin Sciences offer cash on delivery?

We did not find cash on delivery stated on its pages; its site lists Visa and Mastercard. Confirm at checkout.
